Divorce Mediation helps couples move on with their lives respectfully, amicably, and in an affordable way. Mediation allows couples to avoid the combative nature that attorneys and court often influence. Divorce mediation is a process to dissolve a marriage or parenting conflict in a cooperative and nonaggressive way. Mediation will allow each participant an opportunity to negotiate and direct a settlement independent of the court or attorneys. Successful divorce mediation requires each participant to listen, to communicate respectfully, and to desire to accommodate one another. Mediation does not include a win-lose outcome. Rather, each participant should reach an amicable divorce settlement that is acceptable to all involved. Divorce mediation allows couples to privately mediate their divorce, and simply hire an attorney to file the paperwork at an affordable cost. 

Stephanie has 26 years experience as an MFT, with an  M.S. in Law, School Counseling and Legal Document Assistant. She will provide effective and cooperative divorce mediation for Parties seeking to resolve all issues related to their divorce. She will help clients keep their divorce affordable and out of the courts control to make decisions that will not benefit each individual, and the family. NO retainer is required. Services are a Fixed Fee for mediation. There are no surprises, you will know your costs before beginning mediation and you will have 

a completed, detailed memorandum of understanding.

Before studying family law and graduating from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, Stephanie practiced Marriage and Family Therapy for 17 years. This education and experience will provide a knowledgeable and supportive environment that allows each party to be heard and respected. Stephanie has never desired to be an attorney and prefers to eliminate the combative nature of divorce. She has combined her law degree, legal experience, and years as a couples therapist to create alternative solutions to divorce. You will receive information and education about divorce in Tennessee, and support while going through this life event.
